Alaya’s Darjeeling Green Tea is a unique offering. Though green teas are usually sourced from East Asia, Darjeeling produces its own green teas. Unlike black Darjeeling teas that are oxidized, green teas are not, and thus they retain their green color. Instead, the teas are dried and rolled shortly after being harvested.
This fragrant, aromatic organic Green tea is light, refreshing, nutty, and comes from a regenerative organic estate at the base of the Himalayas. Try Darjeeling Green iced, for a delicate cold brew in summer months. Certified Organic. Can be re-stepped for a second or third cup. Each bag produces about 40 to 50 cups of tea.
